Last week kept travel notes on my normal blog, Marcela's Musing.

This weekend's travel to Seattle especially noted on Southwest flight. Way too long, with 5 hrs to Vegas, 2.5 hr layover and another 4 hrs to Seattle, but very fun. Attendants made standard jokes about using the mask--"Stop screaming and let go of your neighbors neck. And breathe like there's no tomorrow, because if you don't there won't be a tomorrow (second time "Breathe like you've never breathed before). "Ladies cover your mouth first and then that of your husband who's obviously not listening now." "If you're continuing on this flight, please remain seated. You will be counted by Scott, who's from Florida and you know how Floridians have trouble with counting." "If you're changing planes in Reno, you need to get a new travel agent since nothing else is leaving tonight." "If you leave anything on the plane, please make sure it's divisible by 3 [3 flt att on board] and can be sold on ebay".

The really funny part came when I was waiting on board, reading my book and heard a loud thump outside my window. I looked up, startled and saw the luggage ramp pulled up to the plane outside my window and all the luggage guys seemed to be grinning at me, even a few waving. I was a little confused since I didn't think they could see me and the guy behind me was talking about waving to them. So later I heard another thump and looked outside only to hear another thump and hand barely catching the top of someone's head who had been jumping up. I found out from the guy behind me that they had put fingers to their lips for him to not to warn me that they were sneaking up on me. As the guy backed up he mimed a phone to his ear and mouthed "Call me". Definitely funniest antics from a plane crew ever.
